Monthly Meeting:
Club meeting for all committee members this Thursday at 8:30p.m

The Club extend sympathies to the Sammon family on the passing of Donal on Sunday last. He was a former player with Thurles Sarsfields and a very loyal supporter down through the years. We also send our sympathies to the Bergin Family Camblin Roscrea.

Under 14/15
The team played the first round of the under 15 7-a-side league on Saturday when they hosted a blitz with teams from Mullinahone and Lattin Cullen.  This meant that each team played twice.Sars firstly took on Mullinahone, and in a game where the lead exchanged on numerous occasions, Sars came out on top by 3.04 to 3.01.  In the second game, Lattin Cullen bet Mullinahone is a high scoring match by 9.04 to 7.03.  This meant that the last game was the decider.  Lattin Cullen lead at half time by 1.03 to 0.03, but is a strong second half showing, the Thurles girls eventually came out on top by 4.04 to 2.04.  Every girl on the Sars team preformed outstandingly in this first outing, and the contest was held in a very sporting manner overall.  Sars would like to thank Mullinahone and Lattin Cullen for travelling.
Please note that training is on in the Railway Field at 5.45pm on Friday.  It is important that all players attend as the next round of the blitz is set for the coming week against Aherlow, Ardfinnan and Arravale Rovers.
Under 12's
under 12s have finished up for the season after a fantastic performance in the county b semi final. Thurles lead for most of the game with great performances throughout the field, however playing against a strong wind in the second half Templemore managed to finish the strongest to level the game at full time. The game went to extra time and Thurles managed to score the first point the fought hard to keep hold of the lead but Templemore found the net with minutes to go in the 2nd half of extra time. Heart break for the sarsfields girls but they can be very proud of their performance throughout the season.

under 10s continue training wednesday eve 6-7
Junior C/B
The Junior C team lined out in their first championship game this year against Fethard. Though they were defeated on the day, they had only a panel of 15 so the odds were against them. However, this didn't stop them from battleing on, and playing a hard fought game. There were a few new young introductions to the panel this year with Georgia and Clara. This was alot of the girls first game this year, and their first time playing together. Well done girls on your performance.
The Junior B panel line out to Mullinahone on Wednesday 7th, on home soil. Having won the Junior C championship last year, they will be up against it in this higher grade. Lets just hope all the holiday makers have returned on time. best of luck girls.
Junior training will return on Friday evening at half 6 with the venue to be decided.
