JUNIOR B HURLING
After a long delay our Juniors are on the road again next weekend.They travel to KileedyLimerick, to play Sixmilebridge,Clare in the Munster semi-final on Saturday next December 11th at 2pm.
 
U/21 A HURLING
Weather permitting our U/21 hurlers will play the Mid Final on Wednesday December 15th.Their opponents will be Loughmore Castleiney or Holycross/Ballycahill.See club website for time and venue.
 
NATIONWIDE
Club members are invited to watch the RTE1 Nationwide programme on Friday next December 10th at 7pm.Our Club President Mickey Byrne was a recent visitor to the Donnybrook studios where in the company of Frankie Walsh(Waterford) and Eddie Keher(Kilkenny) they viewed match footage from the Irish Film Institutes archive collection of GAA games.Their recollections and memories of their playing days will form the centrepiece of the Nationwide programme.Not to be missed.
 
FESTIVE SEASON
Following on from the hugely successful Fancy Dress party of last year on St Stephens night, the Social Committee are busy organizing this years event.
December 26th in the Clubhouse will be the place to be again this year for the clubs Christmas Party Theme Night.More details next week.Tickets go on sale this weekend from usual sources and the Clubhouse.
Not forgetting the December 27th reunion for our County Minor Hurling Champions of 1985.Team management and panel members will have received their invites for this event and are looking forward to a great reunion.Events will kick off at 8.30pm.
 
VOTES OF SYMPATHY
At the December club meeting votes of sympathy were extended to families and friends of Eddie Burke,Leugh and Ned Ryan,Upperchurch.
