Club Notes

Senior: We play Drom Inch in a County League fixture on Wednesday June 5th in Holycross at 7.30pm.
Junior: We make the short journey to Kickham Park to play Thurles Gaels in Rd 1 of the Mid Championship on Saturday 8th June. Throw in a  7.30pm.

Well done to the Tipperary U/21s and to Aidan,Michael and Stephen on their fine win over Limerick in the Munster Quarter Final. 
Good luck to the Tipperary Seniors and to Padraic,Lar,Pa and Michael as they begin the defence of their Munster crown in the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday next.

Our third annual International Hurling Festival was launched by Minister of State,Alan Kelly and club officials in the clubhouse on Friday evening last. A great crowd was in attendance to hear John Enright, Chairman of the organizing committee outline details of this years event. The festival taking place on the weekend of July 12th and 13th,will this year feature 16 teams and road bowling will make a welcome return on the Friday evening. A new feature will be an inter-club camogie tournament  run by our Camogie club.Add in the Caman Abu recreational hurling tournament and a great weekend is planned by the hardworking organizing committee.We wish them well and our notes will keep club members informed of the preparations.
