Club Notes Week-Ending February 12th

U/21 FOOTBALL Our footballers were defeated by Upperchurch-Drombane in the Mid Tipperary U/21 A Football preliminary round on Sunday last in Ballycahill.They now enter the losers group section of the competition. ADJOURNED CONVENTION Club members are invited to attend our Adjourned Convention on Thursday 10th February in the clubhouse at 8.30pm.There are remaining positions to be filled on the club executive so all committee members must attend. MEMBERSHIP Club membership is now due for all members.Please return your membership renewal form to Club Registrar,Ger Donnelly or any club officer.Closing date as per GAA directive is March 14th. PRESENTATION & AWARDS NIGHT This years event will be held in the Dome,Semple Stadium on Saturday night March 19th.Music will be provided by the Paddies with a disco to follow.Ticket details in next weeks notes. TIPP GAA MEMBERS DRAW Lady luck was shining on some blues supporters last weekend.Club stalwart Dick Maher,Holycross Rd won the top prize of €5,000 in the County Board lotto draw with promoter Jack Cooke receiving €300.Former club promoter Tony O Mara won the 6th prize of a Flat Screen TV in the main Lotto Draw.Congratulations to all and a word of thanks to our Draw Promoter Brian Burke. LADIES FOOTBALL The next Sarsfields Ladies Football committee meeting will be held on the 9th February at 7pm at the Sarsfield Centre.    Anybody, including players, parents or trainers, interested in carrying out the Fundamentals Foundation Coaching Course, please contact Lisa Prendergast on the Committee. A course is to be held shortly.
