Congratulations to Ger Corbett winner of the McNamee Award 2010

Congratulations to Ger Corbett, Programme Editor at Semple Stadium on winning the McNamee Award for the best GAA match programme for 2010 in respect of the Tipperary County Senior Hurling Final programme 2010. The McNamee Awards annually honour excellence in the area of communications, public relations and journalism specifically related to the activities of the Association. Ger has a long track record of producing high quality programmes and well deserves national recognition for his work. Present at the annual McNamee Awards dinner, where Ger received his award from GAA President, Christy Cooney, were Ger and his wife, Margaret; John McCormack, Thurles Sarsfields and former Semple Stadium programme editor, and his wife Catherine; County Chairman, Barry O'Brien; County Vice-Chairman, Sean Nugent; Munster PRO, Ed Donnelly and County PRO, Ger Ryan. We also congratulate the team of people who assist Ger producing his programmes most prominent among whom are printer, Tom Bei! rne and contributor and compiler of statistics and historical information, Seamus O'Doherty.
