Weekly Club Notes

Senior Hurling: Our thanks to Clarinbridge for last weekends challenge game.We wish Kevin O Gorman a speedy recovery from an eye injury received in the game.

Minor Hurling: Our minors travel to Castleiney on Saturday to play Loughmore.Throw in at 6pm.

Junior Hurling: We play Drom Inch on Sunday morning at 12 in Templemore

Club members are asked to forward all requests for tickets to Club secretary,Thomas Callanan by 6pm on Sunday next,August 28th.No applications can be considered after this date.
Tickets will be distributed as soon as they become available.
Please note that Thomas is unavailable to receive calls from 9 to 5 Monday to Friday.He may be contacted outside of office hours. 

The club are participating in the Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club tournament on Saturday next August 27th. This special tournament event, as part of its 125th Anniversary Celebrations,recognises the shared heritage of all GAA Clubs that bear the Sarsfields name ,in honour of the great patriot Patrick Sarsfield. Sarsfields clubs from all over the country will compete in Gaelic football,Hurling,Camogie and Ladies football.
The action takes place at Lucan's Club Grounds and commences at 12noon with finals set for 5pm.See for directions.


Cul Camp
Well done to all the girls that showed up to the Cul Camp and made it such a success. There were 42 in all. A special thank you to Josephine Glesson, the Camp co-ordinator, who put in a tremendous effort in organising and running the camp. Thank you to the girls that came down during the week to help out. We were lucky to have a few special guests visit our camp this year,so thank you to Lar Corbett, Padraig Maher and Stephen Lillis for popping in.

We would like to offer our deepest sympathy to our Chairperson Gerry O'Hagan who's Aunt passed away recently in Mayo.

Junior 7's
A Junior 7's competition is being held in Dublin on the 24/09/2011 and we are entering a team. All who are interested should forward their names on to Amy O'Gorman. We would like to thank Amy, Fiona and Maggie for taking time out to organise this event.
