Senior Hurling: What a great day it was for Thurles Sarsfields and all of our followers when our senior hurlers won the clubs 32nd county senior hurling title at the hands of gallant Drom-Inch on Sunday last in Semple Stadium. We were delighted to be present when team Captain padraic Maher raised the Dan Breen aloft. The team showed tremendous spirit, heart and commitment to secure victory in a very evenly contested County Final. Great credit is due to the panel of players, management and backroom team for achieving victory and we wish them well as they ready themselves for the Munster club championship. Congratulations to Aidan McCormack who was named Man of the Match following a sterling performance in the final when he bagged 1-6 from play.

Thanks to all our supporters  from near and far for attending in large numbers on Sunday in Semple Stadium and also in our clubhouse afterwards.

Munster Club Championship: We will play Kilmallock (Limerick) in the AIB Munster club senior hurling championship quarter final on Sunday October 28th at 2:00pm in Kilmallock.

Minor Hurling: We wish all the best to our minor hurlers who play Holycross in the Mid Minor A Final on Sunday next in Littleton. See Mid fixtures for full details.

U-21 Hurling: Congratulations to our U-21 B panel who produced a tremendous performance to defeat JK Brackens in the Mid semi-final on Saturday last. They are busy preparing for the Mid Final clash with Upperchurch Drombane.
