Michael Small R.I.P.

The news of the recent passing of Michael Small, Borrisoleigh and formerly Castle Ave., Thurles, saddened many in Thurles, particularly in Thurles Sarsfields. Back in the sixties Michael was a very popular and efficient Hon. Secretary of our club from 1966 until 1972. In 1973, he became Mid Tipperary chairman, a post he held with distinction for three years. Although most of his life was spent in Borrisoleigh, he was a Sarsfields man first and last and his interest in our fortunes never waned. We extend our sincere sympathy to his wife Ann, son Michael and sister Maura. Solas na bhFlaitheas dá anam.
